ABOUT PRODUCTION HOUSE

Bankai Films is a new-age production house making its debut in filmmaking with Matsya Vedh. The production house has the backing of Bankai Group, a media and telecommunications conglomerate that has been in the industry for over three decades. Over the years, Bankai Group has ventured into multiple business avenues in the telecom and IT industries, transcending boundaries and cultures. Under the aegis of its President and CEO, Mr. Bankim Brahmbhatt, the organization has headed various technological innovations that have proven scalable and sustainable worldwide. Bankai Group has successfully created multinational business operations through his strategic acumen of adding multiple new products, service portfolios, business verticals, acquisitions, and partnerships.

Bankai Films envisions producing cinema that has a global reach and audience. Starting with the web series Matsya Vedh, their vision is to expand the horizons of the entertainment industry and venture into making path-breaking feature films, web series, and more.

Nirav Barot

Producer of Bankai Films

Having 17 years of experience in the Film Industry, with successful films like “Thai Jashe!”, “Have Thashe BaapRe” and the web series “Matsya Vedh” in his portfolio, writer-director and Producer Nirav Barot has created a strong foothold in the Indian film industry. He is an avid storyteller who has dabbled in directing and producing ads, short films and music videos. He is currently an executive director and the Representative of Bankai Films.

His film Thai Jashe! (2016) has won 12 awards in various categories. This includes Gujarat State Award for Best Director and Best Film, along with winning awards at the Gujarati Iconic Film Awards (GIFA) and Transmedia Awards (2016). His 2nd film “Have Thashe Baap Re!” (2019) has won him the Best Screenplay award in International Gujarati Film Festival (IGFF) in the USA. He has won 2 awards at the Rajasthan Film Festival for the film “Have Thashe Baap Re!” He has made more than 30 ad films so far along with 50+ short films and music videos.

His 3rd project was a suspense thriller Gujarati mini-series called “Matsya Vedh”, released in 2022, which was widely loved and appreciated, and is now in the process of being adapted into a Hindi web series.

Priyanka Brahmbhatt

Producer of Bankai Films

A Harvard University graduate, Priyanka Brahmbhatt is a young and dynamic leader, having worked in managerial and executive positions within the technology and telecom industries. She began her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 21 by successfully founding and heading a digital branding and marketing agency, Cozmic Group.

After earning her academic credentials in marketing and management, she joined Bankai Group and Panamax Inc. (leading multinational companies in the IT and telecom industry). By making an impact with her quest for innovation and excellence, she gradually climbed the ranks to become the Executive Director and the Member of the Board for both organisations.

Her drive to bring positive changes in the business world as well as society has made her a member of the illustrious Forbes NY Business Council, Forbes U30, and a UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocate.

Raj Brahmbhatt

Producer of Bankai Films

Raj Brahmbhatt is the Producer of Bankai Films. Having unmatched business insights and trailblazing leadership, he is working on – Process Improvement, Case Management, Financial Analysis, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Incubation, Venture Capital, and Operations Management. With financial and business acumen Raj formed his first independent venture – Valuit, a DeFi platform to launch and trade asset tokenization. Being a young leader, he gives importance to the company’s culture and values, and he is a strong advocate for his employees.
